The Department works with a motive of nurturing a scientific temperament, inculcating right values towards the development of personality to uplift economically deprived and intellectually low students and instill social commitment among the students.        The Department has well established laboratories. Separate UG and PG lab, instrumentation lab with sophisticated instruments, microbiology, molecular biology, plant tissue culture, green house, and animal house which permits the students to work and use at any time.
