| Extension Activities |
Students are sent to functions such as wedding, birthday, exhibitions, conferences etc. which give them first-hand experience in function catering. Students are given monetary incentives by the hosts of the function .

| Industrial Visit |
Students are taken to various Catering establishments regularly to study their style of operations. Visit includes Hotels, Resorts, Speciality Restaurants, Airport Catering, Industrial Catering etc.

| Projects |
Students are encouraged to take up a detailed study on any topic relevant to their programme which will benefit the Industry. Members of Staff actively involve themselves in guiding the Students in their work.

| Part-time Job |
Department also encourages students to take up part-time job after their college hours. This not only fetches them pocket-money but also gives them practical knowledge and confidence.
